Billions of blogs and websites are already out there, and yet many blogs are still created every single day. Why you should start a blog?
I created my blog in 2013. It changed my life for the better. Well, it was in fact not just for the better. It allowed me to discover my new talent. My career changed, and travelling becomes my profession.
I truly enjoy reading someone’s blogs. They are real human voices.
Bloggers show their experiences, but not only positive things happened to them but also suffering in their lives.
A miracle happens when bloggers transformed their suffering into something creatively.
Blogs reflect the authors’ journeys. Others can learn and be helped from their shared experiences and knowledge.
If you ever wonder whether you should start a blog, why don’t you? I think there is nothing you lose. You simply need some spare time and a little amount of money. And yet, a potentiality of a blog is immeasurable.
In this article, you will see my thoughts and experiences on blogging. I hope this article will help you get started a blog if you are still wondering.

What is Pinterest? How does it Work with Your Blog?
1. Learning Becomes Your Habit

You do not need to be an expert to write a blog. In the beginning, you might not know anything about web design. I had no idea how to create a blog when I started.
When you do not know about something, you do research, read books or ask people around for the answer. When you search online, there is always an answer there.
With repetition of a tiny bit of search for an answer, in the end, you become an expert in your niche.
Learning becomes your mental habit. You gain knowledge out of your constant learning. The knowledge becomes yours. It will never disappear, and no one can steal it from you.
Now you can help others. When you share and give your knowledge to the others, you gain more knowledge as if a half glass needs to be full. You become more knowledgeable!
2. It’s Fun. You Become More Creative
We, humans, are intrinsically creative. When we express our creativity, joy comes up. There is a sense of fulfilment within. Life in general flows.
You decide what to write in a blog post. You bring your thoughts, ideas and images into texts, photographs and infographics to express them. Blogging is a creative process to present your crafts to the world.
A good thing about blogging is that it is so easy to present your work to the world. You do not need to organize an exhibition to show what you have created or visit companies for your publication.
3. Blogging is Healing
Writing is simply therapeutic. Switch off your iPhone and TV. You sit down and let your mind calm. Then you allow yourself to express your inner thoughts and feelings through writing.
When you are in the flow of writing, you are connected. Writing becomes an act of a meditative state. In that state of the mind, your imagination, ideas and feelings are fully nurtured.
You become more productive, in the flow a sort of, and your thinking becomes clearer. It is Zen…
4. You can Make the World Better
When you do something out of joy, you do not expect something or any returns from the others because there is already a sense of fulfilment within.
It could be for you playing a musical instrument, gardening, cooking, writing, DIYing, photography, fishing or whatever a thing you truly enjoy.
And there is no reason why you like it, but you do and enjoy it uttermost because it is a talent given to you.
Whatever the thing you enjoy the most, a joy comes within. It flows inside out.
The joy extends to things and people around you. Your act out of joy and that gives a positive impact upon a community around you. In the end, it extends to the world!
Share your interest, talent and skills over your blog!

5. You are Building Your Property with less than $5 Monthly Payment
As I said previously, once you gained knowledge, it will not disappear, and no one can steal it because it is original and exists in you. Even it is temporarily stolen, that is merely the surface.
You build your blog, by bringing your inner thoughts, ideas and feelings into texts and visual images. Your blog becomes a creative outlet to communicate your thoughts, ideas and feelings with your readers.
Once your contents develop, your readers also grow. That is natural. Then the world gets to know about you.
Your blog becomes a digital record of your crafts and creativity. Save your intellectual property online. They can never be lost, stolen or even destroyed in a fire!
Choosing the right hosting company is vital. I use Bluehost for a long time and have experienced no problems ever since. In fact, I only pay less than $5 monthly, including for my hosting company and domain name registration.
6. Blogging opens Different Doors of Your Life
My life changed after I created a blog. It was not my intention to become a photo/videographer, but there were people who wanted to buy what I created.
A great thing is that I was not only paid but was happily paid. It is a great feeling I ever had. It is truly great to know that there is someone who is paying to what I create. Since then, I stopped being paid for the amount of time I work for.

Shortly after people started buying the photographs, the world’s leading travel and media companies contacted me and showed their interests to work with me.
Interesting? Then, keep reading.
I was invited to visit Australia to receive training. Even the flight tickets and hotels were prepared. The video gear was also sent from America.
That all happened to me at the beginning. I never expected that would happen or even could not imagine. I followed my heart, did what I love the most and shared it with the others online.
Enjoy doing things out of joy. One thing I would like to remind you is that do not expect anything to the consequence of what you do. That is a secret of success.
I have other examples to talk about this topic. I like it. Such stories are inspirational.
One of the other examples is that a friend of mine’s wife was making handmade design hats and showing them on her blog. One day he told me that his wife was away from his home.
What happened?
She flew off Paris for an exhibition. A designers brand company invited her to show her hat collection at a fashion exhibition in Paris!
Do not be afraid of presenting your talent and skills but learn the way how to do it.
A new door of your life is opened. The world is waiting for you.
7. You Do Something for Others
You start blogging out of your joy. The topic you write could be something about your hobby, expertize or something you are interested in. Whether or not it is your intention, a content you create will help others’ lives.
I have learned a lot about blogging, social media, saving money on travel, earning extra and organizing and arranging my trip. Many bloggers and book authors helped me to develop the ideas of the topics I am interested in.
Hopefully, my blog posts can help others and motivate them to enjoy and save money on a cruise and explore the world more.
They made my life easier and better. If they did not talk about the topics, I did not care much about how to make my cruise and trip easier, even never thought of sharing with others on my blog.
I do research, cruise, travel and photograph a lot. I am willing to help my readers do the same. I hope my readers get more confidence in cruise; feel free to express themselves and create betterment in their lives.

8. You will Inspire Others
Blogging not only changes your life but also the life of others. I have read countless blogs, websites and forums over the Internet. I always discover new ideas, thoughts or expressions, which I never thought of before.
I never could imagine there are people who are travelling the world all the time but now I do. I never could imagine someone who had a really difficult time or tragedy in life but turns it into a miracle and it has given a positive impact upon others’ lives.
Your blog becomes an inspiration for others. You can make a difference in others’ lives.
You might think why I know about it? You should test it. It is a wonderful feeling!
9. You Grow
It is not necessary that you have to be an expert to write a blog. You learn a lot through blogging. By the time being, you grow and become an expert in your niche. It is a process.
A good thing in blogging is that you become more confident because you have something to offer to your readers.
In each blog post, you learn something new. You also better understand who you are and the ways to express yourself.
Writing a blog post will be getting easier for you. You learn how to transform your thoughts, ideas and feelings into texts or visual images.
You then master the ways to present your crafts to the world. It is marketing. You become a professional in your field!
10. Your Life Becomes more Global
This is an interesting part of blogging.
Research is inevitable to write a blog post. Since there is no physical boundary over the Internet, you can access both textual and visual information about particular towns, cities or countries by just one click.

You discover something you never thought of or even paid attention before. You become more open to what is and extend your horizons.
You then start thinking of yourself, things and people around you from more wider perspectives and beyond boundaries.
What we think or even imagined shape the life around us.
You start communicating with people around the world and even being invited to visit their country and start working together.
Well, that happened to me.
You then notice your life, things and people around you become more global!
11. Meeting New People You Never Expected or Even Imagined
I have made a lot of friends through my blog. I also received people from the industry which I never expected or even imagined. I also enjoy receiving an email from my readers and bloggers I contacted.
You will be surprised how easy it is to connect with like-minded people around the world. Blogging people are open and friendly, even helpful. They are genuinely cheering others to succeed. This is one of the biggest positives I have ever experienced in blogging.
